While vapers know that e-cigs are a great tool in helping existing smokers renounce their dependence on combustible cigarettes, not everyone sees their value as a quit-smoking aid. In an effort to keep e-cig devices out of the hands of teens who may have been enticed to try them because of their sweet flavors, the Trump Administration implemented a new policy last January, forbidding the sale of pre-filled flavor pods and prohibiting brands and manufacturers that didn’t submit their applications to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for approval to continue to sell their products. Since there were so many users that were affected by the partial vape ban, it’s important for both newly transitioning and current vapers to stock up on products from a brand that did the paperwork and set their approval process in motion. Here’s why.
It’s comforting to know the products you love will be available long-term
All e-cig manufacturers that have failed to submit their application to the FDA are now prohibited from returning to the market, missing the cusp of time that was provided to submit their product and ingredient lists, along with compliance to follow the new labeling, marketing, and advertising restrictions. This means that if you once relied on products from a brand without pending approval, you won’t be able to legally gain access to devices or e-liquids moving forward.
Vape eCigs only sells products made from e-cig market brand leaders that are working with the FDA to gain approval as smoking cessation aids. This means that regardless of which type of device you prefer, disposable or refillable, all of our products are expected to remain available for years to come!
Approval from the FDA means that the benefits outweigh the risk
Since e-cig devices first hit the American market in 2007 reputable researchers have claimed that vaping remains safer than conventional smoking. Nevertheless, it’s the job of the FDA to take responsibility in protecting public health and assuring the safety, efficacy, and security of medical devices, and many other products, used by humans. Thus, while we can’t claim that all e-cigs and e-liquids are 100% safe, having the FDA approval means that the agency has determined that the benefits of the product outweigh the known risks for the intended use.
